Dunning / privacy

Privacy, plainly stated.

How Dunning collects, uses, and protects information while helping businesses recover overdue revenue.

Information we handle

Depending on how you use Dunning, this may include account and contact details, organization settings, invoices, customer names and email addresses, payment status, message content, recovery decisions, audit events, and technical information such as logs or device data.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the service, synchronize billing data, send recovery communications at your direction, generate payment links, provide support, maintain audit trails, improve reliability, and comply with law.

AI-assisted processing

Dunning uses AI to classify customer replies and draft recovery communications according to your configured policies. Your organization remains responsible for reviewing its settings and communications. Sensitive decisions can be routed for human review.

Service providers and sharing

We share information with providers needed to operate the service, including Clerk, Resend, Google Cloud and Gemini services, and the payment or billing providers you connect. We do not sell personal information.

Retention, security, and choices

We retain information as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security records. We use access controls, tenant separation, encrypted connections, and monitoring appropriate to the service. For access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions, contact support@dunning.website.

Compliance safeguards

Dunning includes configurable safeguards for opt-outs, disputes, attorney representation, vulnerability and hardship disclosures, contact hours, message frequency, sanctions screening, and unsafe outbound language. These are product controls, not legal advice or a guarantee of compliance in every jurisdiction. Organizations must provide accurate location and account information and review their workflows.

These materials describe the current intended operation of Dunning and may be updated as the service develops.
